It has taken us many years to discover the perfect spot (which we keep a closely guarded secret) with the right microclimate and a dedicated farmer community proud to grow Robusta coffee to the highest standards. Contrary to popular belief, Robusta coffee is not an inferior variety compared with Arabica coffee. It is a different variety with a different taste profile. It grows larger, the leaves are bigger, with extensive nods of cherries, producing higher yields per hectare than Arabica. We slowly roast the coffee beans to enhance the bold flavors, for a cup of coffee, loaded with emotions and a natural caffeine kick, with flavor notes of dark chocolate and dries tobacco leaves. ORIGIN
Since the unification of the country, the province has seen remarkable economic development fuelled by the growing coffee industry. The province has a population of over 2 million people and home of various ethnic minorities. It is characterized by large forests and areas of agricultural cultivation. Today, Dak Lak is the main Robusta coffee bean producer in Vietnam and a major supplier of world markets. Other important crops in the province include rubber, pepper, forestry products and an increasing volume of fresh fruits like durian, avocado and passion fruit. Emblematic to the region being the birthplace of Vietnamese coffee production, our ALAMBÉ DAK LAK of coffee represents the traditional Vietnamese coffee.
